On the opening day of the exhibition, the third Jiangsu Province Purple Peak Award ceremony will also be held to commend 30 Taiwan-funded enterprises that have made positive contributions to Jiangsu's high-quality economic development, and officially launch the construction of Suzhou's first big data application platform for government services to Taiwanese enterprises, the "Suzhou-Taiwan" smart service platform.

Since 2002, the eMEX has been successfully held for 19 times, becoming one of the well-known exhibitions in the cross-strait IT industry with large scale, many exhibitors, and complete industrial support, serving more than 12,000 enterprises in total. The China (Suzhou) Electronic Manufacture Expo (eMEX) is co-organised by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, and co-hosted by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangsu Province, the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province and the People's Government of Suzhou City.
